Our journals do not publish third-party material without written permission. Authors are responsible for securing all required licenses.
Permission is required for previously published work in which copyright was not retained, substantial extracts, unaltered or minimally modified data, and copyrighted images. Permission is not required for reconstructed or substantially modified data, provided the source is cited and copyright requirements are met. Where applicable, authors should state: “Reproduced with permission from [source].”
